These adorable DIY Mason jars are versatile and can cost as little as $5 each and you could duplicate this at home. I did these in pink for a baby shower but they are also doubling as Easter decorations on my fireplace mantel . These were done for a baby girl shower but these could be done for a baby boy as well. I would paint them blue instead of pink and use tiny white or yellow daises or even white rosebuds.

Let me start off by saying these DIY Mason jars cost me about $5 each  to make but that really depends on how thrifty you are and the look you are trying to achieve. The flowers and greenery could be bought for less if you looked at your local Wal-Mart or even Dollar Tree. Both of these places have cheaper options but the same look can be achieved for less.

Where I bought my supplies and How much they cost

  • Mason jars -free , a friend gave them to me but you can buy these at wal-mart or even the dollar store
  • Spray paint $3.96 at Wal-mart
  • Spray Foam $3.26 at Wal-mart
  • Rosebuds $14.99 Amazon
  • Greenery 12 bundles $16.99

I spent a total $39.20 and made total of eight jars coming to $4.90 each.

How I put these DIY Mason Jars together

I started with a clean jar and spray painted the outside with pink spray paint. Once Spray paint is dry fill the jars with spray foam . Only fill them half way because the foam will expand. These jars are deep so I would let these dry and cure for a week .Once the foam is cured snip the greenery and roses off the bush. I removed the extra leaves off the roses. Fill the jars with the greenery and roses to desired fullness. This is optional but I finished the jars with a little jute twine .
